Elderberry’s farm in Paonia is located in the North Fork Valley, a special area known for its fertile soil that supports abundant growth of organic fruits, vegetables & vines.

 

Elderberry’s, on the edge of Paonia, is home to a charming, periwinkle-blue 1908 farmhouse & apartments, a tiny house, a sacred-space yurt & a new herbal lab/maker space. The four-acre grounds are graced with fruit trees, herb gardens, grassy yards & a camping meadow. Beautiful Minnesota Creek runs through our land.

Our botanical sanctuary is on the edge of town, in a quiet, peaceful, varied landscape with huge Cottonwood trees shading the lawns, a mountain creek & stunning views of the West Elks range of the Rocky Mountains. It’s the perfect place to shed the chaos of city life & recharge your vitality.

Savor fresh organic food right from local farms & gardens & set up in the camping meadow under brilliant stars or stay in one of our on-site accommodations. Our unique micro-climate is often compared to the Provence region of France in the summer. The North Fork Valley is home to the highest concentration of organic farms, vineyards & orchards in the state – truly a haven for plant-lovers, gardeners, herbalists, healers & foodies! Paonia is also a vibrant creative community of musicians, artists, storytellers, photographers, naturalists & authors – there’s always something interesting going on here!

A HEALING WILDSCAPE

This breathtaking landscape is surrounded by an expanse of mountains & high mesas, with clear air, blue skies & pure mountain spring water. Sage & Juniper grow in wild abundance among other aromatic plants & wildflowers, while Aspens & Spruces blanket the mountains. Deer, Coyotes, Owls, Hawks, Eagles & Elk are among our wild neighbors.
